(Updated 7/15) Poll: MLB All-Star Game

On July 14, 2009, the American league extended their unbeaten streak to 13 with a 4-3 win over the National League. With this victory, the A.L. Champion will have home field advantage in the World Series.

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is now a great source of controversy amongst followers of the game.  It has been this way ever since Bud Selig’s decision to place post-season ramifications upon the mid-summer classic.

One side says, “Great, let them compete!”

The other side says, “The All-Star game is simply an exhibition.”

Either way, it makes for an interesting conversation.

Let’s see how you feel.  Please vote and as always, feel free to comment.

Please helps Mark Reynolds of the Arizona Diamondbacks make it to the All-Star Game in St. Louis.  His teammate, Clay Zavada, is from my hometown.  I’m just trying to support the team.

If you haven’t had a chance to see Mark play, you’re missing out. He plays extremely hard.  He is flashing a ton of  leather this season at both 3rd base and 1st base. He has 24 home runs, which is double the amount of any other National Leaguer up for the last spot on the All-Star team.  In turn, he has 62 rbi’s.  Lastly, he is a leader on that young club.  Please give him your vote.  Oh yeah….. you can vote more than once!!!  Hurry! The polls close on Thursday 7/9 at 1pm PST.
