  1. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the
    page layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

    But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
    Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or
    2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?

    I think mandated pitch counts are not necessary. Every body is different, everybody throws with different effort, everybody has different mechanics. As a coach you should use your best judgement to make sure Simone is not over extending their limits. Always think of the players safety. One pitcher may reach their limit at 100 pitches, another at 45. If a pitch count was 70( for example), helps no one.

    We should be teaching these athletes the skills needed to be strong pitchers for the long haul. Nobody will remember how they pitched in grade school or middle school. We are preparing them to be solid high school athletes. For those kids that have the exceptional ability to pitch at an even higher level, we will have built a foundation for their future success. Every decision we make should be in the best long term interest of the health and well being of the young athlete.
